Getting set up
The goal for this module is simple: every participant should have Claude and ChatGPT open on a laptop or tablet, and signed in on their phone.
Hands-on setup
- Open Claude in one browser tab: https://claude.ai
- Open ChatGPT in another browser tab: https://chatgpt.com
- Create accounts with a work email where appropriate.
- Install the mobile apps and sign in.
- Try a new chat, chat history, file attachment, and voice input.
Common stumbles
- Model pickers can be confusing. Explain them in one line and move on.
- Free tiers are enough for this getting-started course.
- Chat history and memory are not the same thing. Learners should know where memory settings live and how to turn them off.
